Speed Racer hasn’t even left the starting grid, but Larry and Andy Wachowski are already looking towards their next film, though - as with V For Vendetta – they’re only producing this time.
Operating under their usual cloak of secrecy, the pair has announced Ninja Assassin, which will start shooting in March in their new favourite studio location of Berlin.
V helmer James McTeigue is the likely director, and, at a press conference, the Wachowskis announced that Rain (AKA Jung Ji-hoon) will take the lead. He apparently impressed them playing a small supporting role in Speed Racer.
Variety has the story, but that’s it for plot details (besides, you know, a killer ninja) until they choose to lift the veil.
