Five new stills for Oliver Stone’s Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps have been released online.
They come courtesy of USA Today, who also had the honour of chatting with Mr Stone about the film.
The director said:
“In my father's world, making a million was a ton. I come back to Wall Street now, and it's not a million dollars. It's a billion dollars. And a billion is nothing.
“They don't even consider that the beginning of a hedge fund. That is what is amazing about the '90s and 2000s — how rich people got.”
And apparently it was the money in the story - not in the studio’s offer - that enticed him back for the sequel, even though he originally passed on the script.
“I guess the crash, which happened in the meantime, made it more interesting.”
Here are the new pics, click on them for high res:
Wall Street 2 comes our way on 27 April, and stars Shia LaBeouf as a successful investment banker working in 2008, whose company is teetering on the edge of bankruptsy.
Enter Josh Brolin’s “new breed of ruthless villain”, who really throws the shit at the fan.
