Wanted 2 gains Kristen Stewart?

Rumoured to replace an absent Angelina Jolie...

With Angelina Jolie ditching any plans to appear in Wanted 2, director Timur Bekmambetov has reportedly met with Twilight moper Kristen Stewart to replace her.

Entertainment Weekly spilled the goss, stating that the director is keen on recruiting the BAFTA Rising Star award winner to kick some bottom in his action sequel.

According to EW, Stewart would play a new fraternity assassin, though with her schedule taken up with Twilight duties it’s uncertain if the 20-year-old will have time for another franchise.

Universal have yet to make her an offer, but star of the 2008 original James McAvoy is all-but-signed to reprise his role of Wesley Gibson.

Jolie departed the project earlier this year in order to work on other projects, including drama Serena with Darren Aronofsky and Disney’s Sleeping Beauty update Maleficent.

Great, a sequel to one of the crappiest films of recent years. Cheers, Timur.

No! No! No! No! No! Kirsten Stewart can't act! Ok she was in Adventureland and Into The Wild (Classic), but I sat through that Twilight s*** and her 'talent' doesn't exist. BAFTA must have millions of Twilight fans in on the act. As for a sequel to Wanted, bring it as soon as possible. Loved the first film as much as the graphic novel. Hats off to Timur Bekmambetov, but his sequel to the brilliant Night**tch was very disappointing. Let's hope he can up the ante and bring us another stand out piece of brilliant/outrageous action with Wanted 2.

It is not that kristen Stewart is a bad actress. I think she is a pretty good one. Most people hate her because of the Twilight Saga movies. Especially guys. And that has nothing to do with her acting abilities but with the fact that she is starring in what they consider a "chick movie". The problem is that the original movie Wanted sucked. Why make a second? Kristen would make a great Lisbeth Salander in the American remake for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Better wait for that one.

The first movie was good old popcorn fun, you're not suppose to take it serious. I don't have a problem with Kristen. Throw some tats on her and let her blow shizzle up.
