Watch a dark clip from dark comedy horror Cheap Thrills

Exclusive: Are the tables about to be turned?

If you hadn't heard of Cheap Thrills, just know this - it's the movie that stunned last year's FrightFest.

A dark horror comedy, it revolves around a simple conceit with countless perverse possibilities.

Faced with eviction and redundancy, a struggling family man heads to the bar and meets up with an old friend. Soon they're lured into a sick, twisted game of escalating dares by a charistmatic and bizarrely mega-wealthy couple - as the two friends are tempted by more and more money, the dares only get more violent and morally sickening.

We've got a sneak peek clip of the two preparing to turn the tables after enduring all manner of perversity at the hands of their dare-inducing tormentors.

Watch the clip below and let us know what you think in the comments below!

Cheap Thrills hits UK cinemas from 2 May 2014.

This is very much worth watching. Its a sort of reverse home-invasion thriller I suppose, and plays a lot like 'Funny Games' but with a stronger socio-economic undercurrent, and a sense of humour that not only keeps things a little more fun and thus watchable, but also more wince inducing when the really bad s**t DOES happen. And that very last shot, oy vey.
