Watch Captain America / Amazing Spider-Man 2 Super Bowl teasers online now

Part 1 of Spidey and Cap's Super Bowl spots land

It’s that time of year again when American footballers clash helmets and all the best blockbusters release exciting new trailer. Unable to wait for the Super Bowl itself though, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is giving us a glimpse at its special TV spot now.

Showing off new footage, more action and even a hint that Emma Stone’s Gwen Stacy may be in some serious danger this time round, this teaser for the weekend’s actual Super Bowl spot already has more than enough in it to keep fans happy.

Needless to say, if this is just Part 1, we can’t wait to see the rest...

UPDATE: And, not to be outdone, Captain America has also slung a new teaser trailer for The Winter Soldier online, check it out here:

Pretty bloody ace, right? Looks like 2014 is going to be a vintage year for comic-book flicks.

What do you think of the new trailer? Let us know below...

This is so over the top I know its 40 secs but every trailer just looks like a CG fest..... and wasnt one of the reasons spidey 3 got caned was because of its excessive amount of villains? Didnt we just see 3 in this 40 sec trailer? They should have stuck to spidey 4 end of!

I don't mind more than one villain as long as the writers and directors do the characters justice. Raimi wasted Venom and Sandman looked horrible.

Have to agree with Mattsimus - I thought this about the first trailer too; looks like a video game to me. The CGI just looks a little too excessive

The thing with Spider-man Three was Raimi was forced to use Venom and didn't like the character so didn't care if it was good - bassically he put to Fingers up to Sony and thats why they have to reboot it

Yeah SiMan im looking forward to winter solider, I thought Captain america was one of the strongest movies out of the marvel / avengers series so im up for it, lol apart from the odd pose from me old scarlett as for spidey dont get me started, Sam raimi was a great directer for the last spidey series but not even he could juggle that many villians im quite a fan of the third film to be fair but if i was Raimi I would have stuck my finger up at sony too!

Raimi failing to capitalize on being handed a great character like Venom was sheer laziness. People need to stop making up excuses for Sam he wasted one of the most exciting characters in the whole Marvel universe.

Sounds like you need to move on, he also created a fantastic .... and might i add (Best superhero movie of all time before TDK) in spiderman 2 and probably didnt get enough recognition for that so maybe its Karma, and yet spidey 3 was still miles better the ASM.... Raimi is a real legend, spidey is a popular character and whether you like it or not it has been re-booted too soon! Dry your eyes...
