Wesley Snipes on for Expendables 3?

Stallone’s tweet seems to suggest so…

Sylvester Stallone has dropped a tantalising tweet, hinting that Wesley Snipes might be on board The Expendables 3.

Snipes was released from prison in the US in April 2013, after serving more that two years for tax evasion.

Stallone began by teasing his Twitter followers with the possibility of Mel Gibson directing Expendables 5, before replying to himself with the statement, “Wesley Snipes is BACK!!!! … …with US.”

Of course, he could just be welcoming Snipes back into society after his jail term, but the ‘with us’ part feels like a cryptic confirmation of a role for Snipes in Expendables 3.

Then again, Stallone also recently confirmed the Easter bunny as the lastest Expendable, so perhaps his Twitter feed shouldn’t be taken as gospel.

Snipes would be a fitting edition to the ever-expanding cast of action heavyweights, with Jet Li and Nicolas Cage among the names expected to be added to the ranks for the proposed threequel.

As of right now, The Expendables 3 lacks a director, a screenwriter and a release date.

What do you make of Sly’s tweets? Theorise below…

Don't do it Wes - The Expendables 2 was the biggest pile of sh*t i've ever laid my eyes on.

@Bobbytwotimes, even bigger than that one in the Triceratops scene in Jurrasic Park?

Excellent comparison Sir, but yes 3 times bigger than that! And at least I only had to stare at that for about 10 seconds unlike The Expendables 2 which i sat through for 2hrs just hoping that the next scene might actually resemble the 80's throwaway action films that it was supposed to be homage of. Instead, I had this...... Arnie "I'll be back" Bruce "You've been back enough" Arnie (rolling his eyes) "Hasta La Vista". I'd rather spend 2hrs buried up to my neck in the Triceratops sh*t to be honest!

Expendables 2 could have been a lot worse, the most insulting part though was *SPOILER ALERT* the terrible fight with Stallone and Van Damme where Van Damme barely even gets to put up a fight! Honestly that was just insulting how that end fight went, it would have been better if Stallone couldn't beat him and just fluked it in the last minute.
