Who's the worst screen couple ever?

Tell us your gruesome twosomes...

Valentine's Day, so says Joel in Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, is "a holiday invented by greeting card companies to make people feel like crap."

So on February 14th, totalfilm.com is kicking against the syrupy tide of fluffy pink teddy bears and sickly kissy-wissy Facebook lovenotes by naming the Top 20 Worst Screen Couples.

Tell us the cinematic couplings that don't work for you (they could be misfires, mismatches or plain old miscastings) with a few short words of explanation. Like...

Zooey Deschanel and Mark Wahlberg (The Happening). They're supposed to be married but she feels more like his annoying kid sister and anyway, he's clearly more interested in plants.

We'll name your top twenty on the 14th - along with all the comments that make us laugh.

Either comment below or send your choices to: andy.lowe@futurenet.co.uk (mark the email 'Worst Couples').

You can also contribute via Twitter by including the hashtag #worstcouples in your @totalfilm Tweet.

Let the love hate begin!

Ben Affleck and Uma Thurman (Paycheck). Is Ben Affleck something previously unknown to science - a totally inert movie star? Who else could so reliably have zero chemistry with so many co-stars?

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart (Twilight, of course). He spends 99% of the film looking constipated while she looks like she's constantly high/having a fit/having an orgasm (delete where applicable). Most laughable couple I've seen in donkey's years.
