As the crazy Inglorious Bastards train of rumour, speculation and hype (fuelled by Quentin Tarantino blend coal) slowly starts to pull into reality station, names possible cast members are being flung about.
Variety is reporting that QT wants Leonardo DiCaprio to co-star, playing the pivotal role of scheming Nazi type Hans Landa in the World War Two-era action drama.
And word has already been flowing that Brad Pitt- who got to read a copy of the script before any of the studios now bucking to co-finance the film managed to – will, schedule permitting, sign on for the lead. DiCaprio’s own schedule might be an issue, but we’re sure they’d be likely to shuffle things around given the positive buzz the Bastards screenplay is generating.
