First look at Daniel Radcliffe in Hammer flick

Woman In Black

Daniel Radcliffe has been revealed in very un-Harry Potter garb in the first image snapped on the set of his new movie The Woman In Black.

With slicked back black hair, a snug olde days suit, and a pocket watch for kicks, it's about as far away from the look of the boy wizard as Radcliffe could hope to get without shaving his head.

The Woman In Black is the second big project for the newly resurrected Hammer Horror studios, who are also behind the upcoming Let Me In.

Considering the massively positive buzz that Matt Reeves' remake of the Swedish vamp flick has been receiving, Radcliffe could definitely be on to a winner with Woman In Black.

Directed by Eden Lake's James Watkins, the film follows Arthur Kipps (Radcliffe), a young lawyer who travels to a remote village to order the papers of a dead client.

Working alone, Kipp uncovers some shocking secrets and catches glimpses of a woman dressed in black...

Think this is a good post-Potter move for Radcliffe? Tell us below...

I love that they're doing a film of The Woman in Black, the tv movie was terifying and the stage play is the scariest thing i've ever witnessed. but i HATE 3D, it doesn't need it, and I'm afraid that it's going to end up being a 'jump' movie, nit a sense od dread
