Woody Allen sues!

He’s seeking damages over a clothing company using his image…

You shouldn’t get Woody Allen angry. You wouldn’t like him when he’s angry. He gets all… Legal. Yes, the director of Cassandra’s Dream has launched a lawsuit against US clothing firm American Apparel, which has been using an image of Allen dressed as a Rabbi in a still from Annie Hall for advertising.

Allen, of course, doesn’t endorse any products or services in the US, so he’s suing for $10 million in damages over the unauthorised use of his image.

Variety is following the court case.
