X-Men: Days Of Future Past gets a first TV spot: watch now

Time to unite

The first TV spot has arrived online for X-Men: Days Of Future Past, in which Patrick Stewart’s Professor Xavier speculates as to whether our favourite mutants can unite in order to avert a terrible future.

As we know, Xavier and his old chum Magneto have not seen eye to eye for quite some time, but they will have to set their differing ideologies aside here if mutantkind is to avoid being wiped out.

Fortunately, companionable old Wolverine is on hand to make sure everyone plays nicely, as he heads back into the past in order to bring the younger Xavier and Magneto onto the same page.

Looks as though there are going to be some almighty throwdowns with the hulking Sentinels in the new film, although don’t rule out some inter-mutant scrapping before any unity is eventually established…

Directed by Bryan Singer and co-starring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Hugh Jackman, X-Men: Days Of Future Past will open in the UK on 22 May 2014.
