EW have been talking to new Captain Kirk Chris Pine about the pressures of playing an icon in JJ Abrams' Star Trek rejig.
Pine revealed that he'd written a letter to Shatner - how quaint - and that he shares at least two scenes with Leonard Nimoy. "I've met Mr. Nimoy a couple of times. He's been on set and we have a couple of scenes in the film, which will be nice, and I'm excited for those."
