Or just go to the cinema and enjoy it properly! Caught a preview showing at the Leeds International Film Festival - this really is scary!

I've seen it and its not that scary, in fact it was boring and the best bits are in the trailer

Absolutely worth while watching it in the cinema. Make sure you are not alone, else you might not be able to sleep for weeks. Screaming along with other intensely scared people gives some comfort. Not advised for those with too much imagination; If you are not able to enjoy a feature such as The Exorcist, then stay far far away.

A big budget doesn't buy a great story. But the only thing truly missing in this was the latter. Good idea, well executed. Just not enough substance to back up the style. 5 stars from the Total Film crowd is high praise indeed - shame it didn't live up to the hype. Underwhelmed!

I was really underwhelmed by this film. This is the type of film that is usually my cup of tea and I love most of the films it has been compared to, so I was really disapointed when I went to watch it. The premise of the film had a lot of potential but the storyline itself was weak - without giving anything away, who would keep going back to bed after experiencing these things? No matter what the reasonings are (and I think the argument is weak), surely the human reaction would be to run. The back story and the ending was cheesy, they should have spent more time on the script, plot and catered more for an intelligent audience rather than trying to please a bigger crowd. Really wanted to love this film but shouldn't have fallen for the hype.

i enjoyed this film which surprised me as I am one of the very few people who did not like 'the blair witch project' to which I thought was awful. This one built the tension well and whilst not pant soiling scary it still had my heart beating at quite a pace and I found it quite spooky.

As a film student my anticipation for this film was not exactly hyped, as I am not much of a horror fan... But I found myself watching it with a friend and was quite surprised by the effect and standard of the film for a horror. I found the break of genre convention refreshing and was pleased I sat and watched it. Makes a change from the tripe that hollywoods churning out as so called 'horrors' these days.

Are you kidding me with that review? i have never sat through a less scary film in my life ,100 mins of watching a door close on some fat chick and her annoying bf .I am really disappointed in your magazine caving into the hype and pretending that this really is a scary film etc, a poor rip off of the blair witch and that was poor enough,if your reviewer really thought that was scary then i suggest you get some real reviewers who use their own opinions on films and are not brain dead to fall for every overhyped nonsence that americans thrust on us,shame on you all
