Kristen Stewart was born on 9 April, 1990, in Los Angeles California, in the United States.

Stewart is probably best know for playing Bella Swan, Edward Cullen's true love, in The Twilight Saga.

Staring her career as a child star, Stewart appeared as Jodie Foster's daughter in David Fincher's thriller Panic Room early in her career.

Stewart has worked with several significant directors, including Sean Penn on Into The Wild, Jon Favreau on Zathura, and Greg Mottola on Adventureland.

It was on the set of Adventureland that Stewart had an informal screen-test with director Catherine Hardwicke for the part of Isabella 'Bella' Swan in the Twilight series.

She won the part, going on to star opposite Robert Pattinson's Edward Cullen.

Kristen Stewart has appeared in five Twilight films, Twilight, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1, and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2.
