Point Break review

Film description

In a nutshell: Keanu Reeves is an undercover FBI agent trying to take down a gang of bank robbers that surf and live life on the edge.

Tagline: 100% Pure Adrenaline.

Bohdi: 'Back off Warchild, seriously!'

Johnny Utah: 'I am special agent Johnny Utah, FBI!'

Bohdi: '100% pure adrenaline!'

Plot: Keanu Reeves plays a greenhorn FBI agent fresh out of the academy, who is partnered up with Gary Busey for his first case: take down a gang of bank robbers plaguing the LA area.

Busey suspects the robbers might be surfers, so he sends Reeves in undercover to investigate.

Reeves finds more than he bargained for though, both in a romance with Lori Petty, and a bromance with Patrick Swayze, the surf gang leader who has taken Reeves in and shown him the spiritual side of the sport.

Has Keanu become too emotionally involved now to do his job?  Will he do the right thing when the chips are down?  And will Petty and Swayze still love him after they find out he's a cop?

Point Break was directed by Academy Award winner Kathryn Bigelow, and features appearances by Anthony Kiedis, Tom Sizemore, and John C. McGinley.

Hot bodies, hot scenery, a hot Gary Busey, and one of the best foot chases in movie history, Point Break is an action packed thrill ride fueled on 100% pure adrenaline.
