What starts out as an annoying, self conscious, self obsesed drama, slowly builds into a fascinating study of a family trying not to fall apart. The acting is faultless all round, but you still wouldnt want to part of this family

I watched it because Total Film kept going on about this great performance from Anne Hathaway, so I decided to give the film ago even though it didn't appeal to me. Anyway I was pleasantly surprised, this is a great film. And Anne is as good as TF said she was. Thank god for TF opening my eyes month after month about films that I would normally dismiss.
