Red Dust3

Judgment At Nuremberg goes to South Africa in this handsome Verve/BBC production which mystifyingly bowed on TV, rather than gaining the theatrical lesser films easily achieve. Chiwetel Ejiofor stars as an ANC MP returning to his hometown to prevent a racist copper (the superb Jamie Bartlett) receiving amnesty at the Truth And Reconciliation Commission. Hilary Swank is luminescent as the lawyer who helps him, while Ejiofor does an excellent job of portraying a charismatic, confident man shaken to his foundations. A touch worthy, but undeniably moving.
