Shot in two weeks for just $20,000, this might be the most ambitious superhero movie ever made.
Unfortunately, it’s not very good.
Four costumed vigilantes (including X-Man Lucas Till) wake up in a strange town to a video message from disgruntled supervillain Rickshaw (James Remar): the locals have all been hooked up to a series of Saw-style torture games and the heroes have to save them.
A Kick-Ass rip-off whose lack of FX is excusable – pity you can’t say the same about the shonky script.
