Found footage horror. In space.

There is zero gravity and even less horror in this Paranormal Activity wannabe, in which a clandestine 1973 mission to militarise the moon is scuppered by insect ETs who seemingly weren’t around when Neil Armstrong was making his one giant leap.

The look and vibe of Apollo-era astronautics are ably recreated by Spaniard Gonzalo López-Gallego, while Britain’s Lloyd Owen projects square-jawed machismo as one of three NASA guys realising this is probably a one-way trip. As thrillers go, though, this is duller than a year on the ISS…
