Arguably director Michael Bay’s best film, certainly his shortest, this lays out the slick, stylised, brash, laddish template he’s adhered to throughout his career. On Blu-ray, his pastel-hued/orange-filtered vision of Miami looks even crisper and more seductive, as Will Smith and Martin Lawrence’s buddy cops bicker, crack wise and blow shit up. The extras — including Bay commentary and three music videos — are identical to the DVD.
