Mark Wahlberg adds another remake to his resumé, shepherded by Baltasar Kormákur (who produced and starred in the Euro-thriller original, Reykjavik-Rotterdam).
Wahlberg’s the former smuggler coaxed into one last job, which goes predictably awry (and is rather implausible – who could rob an armoured truck while waiting for their ferry connection?).
An off-the-leash Ben Foster and Giovanni Ribisi liven up the stock plot, while Kormákur keeps the action mechanics well-oiled. And if you tire of the explosions and posturing, you can switch to the commentary and listen to the filmmakers talking dock space.
