How I Spent My Summer Vacation

2

A behind-bars action comedy for anyone who wants to see Mel Gibson locked up

Love to see Mel Gibson locked up?

Make a beeline for this behind-bars action comedy that’s a tongue-in-cheek A Prophet.

Gibbo is a fugitive from US justice who, after slamming his getaway car through the border, finds himself in a teeming Mexican jail where the inmates make the rules.

There he pits one faction against another while bonding with a mother and son in a burrito-western that, while hardly the comeback it was no doubt conceived as, at least proves there’s some juice left in the Gibson tank.
