Legend Of The Guardians: The Owls Of Ga’Hoole

3D adventures in Owltown will impress any ornithologist

Legend of the Guardians review

Something of an own ga’hoole for Zack Snyder this, the Watchmen man proving an ill fit for what should’ve been a child-friendlier adventure for fans of Harry Potter’s Hedwig.

Set in a feathery alt-world populated by warring hooters, this tale of a young owl’s flight to join the protectors of his species has scenes of avian abuse sure to unsettle its target audience.

Yet it won’t just be kids who’ll be confused by the hard-to- distinguish characters and a plot seemingly centred on regurgitated pellets(!).

Still, the flying bits are great.
