Will it add much to Python's classic?

“It’s like Handel’s Messiah,” Eric Idle says on short-but-solid behind-the-scenes extras, “but funny.” Can an operatic redux of Life Of Brian staged at the Albert Hall add much to Python’s classic, though? It’s a fair question but Not’s clash of highbrow and juvenilia gradually sprouts comic wings, peaks including a gloriously goofy Bob Dylan parody and a glowstick-lit ‘Bright Side’ singalong. Best of all, the occasion marked 40 years of Python, a celebration that sees most of team Monty (no John Cleese) pile in for a glorious and oddly touching encore.
