Looks great in HD, but still not as good as its predecessor

Brett Ratner’s The Silence Of The Lambs prequel isn’t a patch on Manhunter.

The varnished photography by Dante Spinotti (who also shot Michael Mann’s film) looks lush in HD, bringing out the fatigue in Anthony Hopkins’ tired cannibal eyes, while extras are ported over from the DVD.

      i really enjoyed this thriller. much better than hannibal and the most recent prequel. Edward norton was excellent and the film had a sense of menace all the way through. I also preferred this version to manhunter...did not mind that film...but this i felt was better
