Despite starring Christian Slater and featuring actors such as Donald Sutherland and Timothy Spall, Sofia (known in the US as Assassin's Bullet) feels like a film that was made by an army of amateurs.
Retired FBI agent Robert (Slater) is tasked with tracking down a 'mysterious' assassin in Bulgaria (one who, obviously, disguises her multiple personalities with rubbish wigs).
Not only is the plot utter balls, but the script is full of laughably bad exposition ("Oh, you're still punishing yourself for the accident?"), whilst Isaac Florentine's direction falls flat at every attempt at excitement and suspense.
