With a credit sequence severed from Se7en and torture traps ripped from Saw (scribe Marcus Dunstan is the one directing), The Collector amasses a bloody heap of gorno clichés.
Good job then, that it becomes excruciatingly tense once Dunstan wheels out the fish hooks and tripwires. Its house of horrors set-up has burglar Josh Stewart turning hero when he discovers a family being terrorised by the titular gimp-sadist.
Dumb finale, but who cares? By that point your palms will be welded to the chair, anyway.
