Frank Darabont followed Shawshank with another Stephen King prison tale, starring Tom Hanks and Michael Clarke Duncan as Death Row guard and inmate respectively.
The supernatural twist is a Capra-esque “Aw shucks” too far for some, but the transfer’s sharp and the extras plentiful.
