Disney head back to the drawing board with this old-school Jazz Age fairytale about a hardworking waitress and a feckless prince transformed into amphibians.
The animation is warm and kinetic, but there’s some spice missing from the sluggish plot, bar the voodoo evil of the villainous Dr Facilier.
Lots of insider info on the directors’ chat-track, but only one tiddly game for the kids.
