Enigmatic and dream-like, yet still one of Terry Gilliam’s most coherent (and successful) movies, this superb sci-fi receives a faithful transfer that honours the surreal odyssey of Bruce Willis’ mad (maybe), time-hopping (maybe) post-apocalyptic saviour (maybe).
No new-to-Blu extras, but feature length Making Of ‘The Hamster Factor’ is always worth another spin.
The sharp, powerful soundtrack is the real deal-maker, though.
