Easy on the eye Love Actually mould rom-com...

An alll-star ensemble romcom in The Love, Actually mould, this insipid homage to everybody’s least favourite non-holiday is strictly for stupid cupids. Less of a movie than a test-tube concoction, Garry Marshall’s film has an assortment of lovelorn Los Angelenos intersect via a florist (Ashton Kutcher) whose personal dilemma – Jessica Alba or Jennifer Garner? – sums up the level of reality on display here.

Ping-ponging between the old (Shirley MacLaine and Hector Elizondo) and young (Taylors Lautner and Swift) via the slumming likes of Julia Roberts and Anne Hathaway, it’s easy enough on the eye, but we’re just not into this.
