Mandy Lane (Amber Heard) is the high school hottie every jock wants to get jiggy with. So when the in-crowd invite her to a remote farm for some weekend R&R, it’s only a matter of time before Very Bad Things happen. With a psycho stalking the frat pack, this adolescent horror plays like The OC meets Friday The 13th: snappy teen talk backed by gruesome body trauma as the mysterious killer forces his victims to give shotgun blowjobs or goes all Chien Andalou on their eyeballs. Shame, then, that a hoary plot twist ties the whole outing up in knots with a ridiculous, what-the-fuck? switchback that’s way too smart-arse for this little movie’s own good.
