Demons Never Die

2

Unconvincing urban drama about some supposedly suicidal teens

Suicide Kids review

Imagine Wes Craven directing an episode of Skins and you’ve got this over-stylised urban chiller about a gang of schoolkids who – taking the lead of one of their classmates (played by The X Factor’s Tulisa) – create a pact to top themselves.

That’s if the masked killer who starts picking them off one by one doesn’t get there first.

The irreverent young cast (including Ashley Walters) keep things from getting too dark, and director Arjun Rose keeps us guessing who the culprit is.

But he’s more interested in street cred than plot cred: never has a bunch of kids looked less likely to want to end it all.
