Ever wonder how much info governments and private companies have stored on you in their databases?

In a bold bid to answer this question, documentary-maker David Bond tried to go AWOL for a month, leaving behind his heavily pregnant wife and young daughter. At the same time, he hired private investigators to track him down using publicly available data.

Attempting to blend thriller conventions with talking heads, Erasing David’s findings lack true drama or surprise.

Still, it breezily succeeds in showing just how an individual’s right to privacy has been jeopardised in our brave new cyberpunk digital world.
