My Bloody Valentine 3-D

1

Is 3D the next step in cinema? Not if this is to go by...

Smart choice of weapon for a 3-D slasher: a pick-axe that juts out of the screen – and numerous victims’ skulls. Shame that small-town killer miners (seriously) aren’t scary.

Outside an amusing sequence of full-frontal stalk’n’slash nudity, director Patrick Lussier (formerly Wes Craven’s regular editor) hoses plenty
of blood through the screen but zero scares.

3-D is all about depth. But you’ll find none in Jason X scripter Todd Farmer’s lobotomised screenplay, which provides the rope for Jaime King, Kerr Smith and Supernatural’s Jensen Ackles to hang themselves with staggeringly bad performances.

geez do u guys ever have fun at the movies or do u just go and pretened to be smarter than everyone else. DO NOT GET ME WRONG, this is in no way a great film but hell its a fun way to spend 90 minutes. i cant believe some of the s**t that passes for a review these days. put simply if u like ur horrors go see this in 3D while u can, cos without the 3D its just an average slasher flick........but with the 3D it can b a lot of fun.

s**t film, best use of 3D I've seen yet. A good fun night out overall, but aside from the ludicrous violence there's no good reason to see this in 2D.

What a great film. The 3D is fantasic and the film is just great I am now going to buy the 1981 film to see if it is has good as its remake. This film is great fun. One of the best 3D films I have seen.
