Pudsey The Dog: The Movie

1

Man's worst friend

This shameless attempt to exploit the performing pooch from Britain’s Got Talent starts with said mutt (voiced by David Walliams) grousing about being bored on the set of an Artist-aping film shoot. That’s exactly how you’ll feel after the tedious antics that follow, which see the not particularly appealing canine transplanted to the countryside to help a young family battle a rapacious landowner (John Sessions).

Olivia Colman and Amanda Holden voice some of the animals Pudsey befriends in a flick that has about as much use for his former co-star, trainer Ashleigh Butler, as it does for originality, wit or subtlety.
