John (Will Arnett) and Dean (Will Forte) Solomon are nitwit siblings with absurdly inflated egos and all the social graces of puppy killers. When dad (weird-bearded Lee Majors, who spends the entire running time unconscious, yet still emerges as the funniest character) suddenly falls ill, it’s up to the bros to grant his dying wish – a grandchild. No easy feat, considering the boys’ ability to send women screaming from the room. Basically a series of musty gross-out gags ranging in sophistication from sperm bank hijinks to sloppy man-on-man kissing, Bob Odenkirk’s cringemaker-with-a-heart is a ragged Xerox of Dumb And Dumber that seems incredibly creaky after the summer of Superbad.
