No, not the long-running BBC skit-show with Mel and Griff. This is the jaunty early-’70s cowboy series about a pair of reformed crims trying to stay one step ahead of the law in the old West. Cheekily ripping off Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid, the 15 episodes of the first season (the show ran for two more) are still a fun watch more than a quarter of a century later. This isn’t a great package – you only get one stuttering commentary on the 90-minute pilot, from series creator/cult-telly doyen Glen A Larson. But it’s worth shelling out purely for the charisma of leads Pete Duel (who died, reportedly by his own handgun, in 1971) and Ben Murphy as the gloriously named Hannibal Heyes and Kid Curry.
