An Inspector Calls

4

Tense and riveting adaptation of the famous stage play...

Alastair Sim heads an ace ensemble in this adap of JB Priestley’s play, essaying a mysterious inspector whose visit prods a privileged Victorian family to reveal their roles in a young woman’s suicide.

Taut and compelling, if at times heavy-handed.

This Britflick is a must see classic! It's atmospheric recreation of a now long gone superficially mannered middle class is superb and the black and white production just adds to the moral message!
