A typically Woody Allen love story, filled with the usual wry asides about life in general and Allen's in particular. Nonetheless, Annie Hall proves that, when he's at his best, there's really no one to match him. Thankfully, everyone else in the cast is just as good, with Diane Keaton as the standout, giving Annie a ditzy yet vulnerable quality.
