The story of an intrepid reporter drawn into the siege of Leningrad

Mira sorvino fakes a plummy British accent as an intrepid reporter drawn into the siege of Leningrad by the Germans in 1941. It’s an admirable attempt to convey the misery suffered by the Russians, but unconvincing acting, too-tiny subtitles and stagey set-ups ruin the end result. Decent 38-minute doc, though.
