Bachelor Party

3

Back before Tom Hanks became a serious actor making bad, patronising films, he was a comedy actor making great, brainless films. Here he plays Rick, a school bus driver about to get married (to none other than direct-to-video favourite Tawny Kitaen). When his friends throw him a bachelor party, featuring hookers, class A drugs, a donkey and his fiancée's murderous ex, the marriage could be over before it's begun.

DVD Extras:

Trailer, three featurettes, interview with Tom Hanks.Neal Israel's '80s comedy is trashy, ludicrous and unsophisticated, but it's also irresistibly watchable and still very funny, with a central relationship that feels more genuine than those in most recent Hanks rom-coms. Totally un-PC and all the better for it.
