A sleeper hit in the States, this easygoing comedy sees an unusually restrained Ice Cube sell his local barbershop, only to realise its true worth during one heartwarming winter's day. The action's inconsequential but the acting's superb, particularly from 39-year-old comedian Cedric the Entertainer, wholly convincing as a smart-mouthed septuagenarian.
