Self-tagged as ‘The Violence Of The Lambs’, this goofy horror-comedy sees a flock of mutant sheep turn the tables on mankind, developing a messy taste for human flesh. Writer/director Jonathan King doffs his cap to fellow Kiwi Peter Jackson with Braindead levels of gore and warped humour. It’s too silly, underscripted and ineptly acted to leave a lasting impression, but at least the prosthetic FX pass muster, transforming nature’s cotton-wool balls into figures of freakish menace.
