Blade: Trinity

3

The visceral Geiger-lite quality may have bled out of the series when Guillermo del Toro didn't return for this third bite at the jugular, but hey, if it's foul-mouthed pulpy smash 'n' trash videogaming you're after, this should get your console fingers twitching. It was only a matter of time before they decided to stitch Dracula into the plotline, but don't let the inanity of that distract you. The 'story' is just a framework for hyper-charged combat armed with an increasing array of 007-ish anti-vamp toys as Blade and new assistants the Nightstalkers try to eradicate vampirekind once and for all. It's mechanical, but the machine works pretty damn

DVD Extras:

No commentary, but the docs are solid, covering everything from casting to the possibility of a Nightstalkers spin-off (there's an alternate ending where they head off to kill werewolves). There's even a genuinely amusing blooper reel in among the trailers and picture galleries.
