Pixar may be best for animated adventures in the States, but the Aardman team still rule the home-grown entertainment roost. Mel Gibson (well, his vocal chords) balances out the bad career karma of The Patriot and there's a top-notch batch of Brit thesps behind the other voices, including sitcom vet Julia Sawalha. Film references, gags and storyline are of the level we've come to expect from "the makers of Wallace and Gromit". And just think: this is only their first movie...
