Gawp at Mr Tall (Ken Watanabe)! Warm to witty vampire Crepsley ( John C Reilly)! Become vaguely aroused by the bearded lady (Salma Hayek)!

Then lament this colourful vamps-for-kids franchise-starter, which entertains but lacks the requisite bite.
