Dead End

3

Driving his bickering family to the in-laws’ house on Christmas Eve, grumpy dad Frank Harrington (Twin Peaks’ Ray Wise) dozes off and narrowly avoids a crash. But when a woman in white suddenly appears in the road, the family starts falling to pieces in more ways than one...

One car, one road, six people and a tiny budget. So how do debut directors Jean-Baptiste Andrea and Fabrice Canepa twist their Twilight Zone premise into such a nerve-shredder? With a witty script, great performances and an atmosphere splashed with just the right amount of gore. Certainly no groundbreaker, but while it lasts, your fingernails probably won’t.

DVD Extras:

The Dead End team talk us through the trials of bringing their idea to the screen in the Making Of. We also get two deleted scenes with extra chat from the helmers.
