Deep Blue Sea

4

Finnish pyro-boy Renny Harlin put an end to a long run of lame-o actioners - including turkey Cutthroat Island - with this dumb-but-fun, effects-packed adventure thriller which sets a trio of ultra-brainy mako sharks against Saffron Burrows and her fellow shark-brain botherers. Burrows may have all the expressive power of a whelk, but a star-turn from LL Cool J and some face-slapping twists easily make this a perfect excuse for a boozy night in.
