Presumably swinging a release off the back ofthose web-fuelled Avatar comparisons, this sci-fi kid-flick is an eyewatering horror. Rote scrappy-misfits-takeon- evildoers plotting is married to primitive animation and a script that picks George Lucas’ pockets for ideas.
